GoodDay – New Summertime La Groove

La is the professional name of singer, songwriter and producer Adam Gretchell. The South Korean beatmaker and composer first started making music about two years ago. In that time he has released a series of cover songs and originals via his YouTube channel. His previous tracks include live performance videos of songs by artists like Post Malone and Juice Wrld, as well as original songs in Korean.

“Goodday” is the latest single from Adam Gretchell, released worldwide to his YouTube channel on July 9, 2021. On the track LA is joined by his brother who goes by the name Kong. In addition to Post and Juice, Adam lists artists like Travis Scott, Justin Bieber and XXX as inspiration.¬†We can hear their influence in his multi-genre, EDM and Hip-hop fusion sound. “Goodday” rides on a smooth Tropical House beat as the two vocalists take turns singing and rapping on this feel-good summertime groove. Although the song has a positive vibe, Adam explains that the mood in the studio was a bit less festive when they were recording their tracks. The upbeat track helped raise their spirits.

I was working on my basement but that was too hot. Seriously I was upset, and then we made this. LOL
