Yung Verma is the professional name of singer, songwriter, rapper, engineer and producer Sahil Verma. The Ontario native started making music in high school, gradually piecing together his home studio as he learned the art of recording. Over the next four years he would continue the process, taking online recording classes and working hands-on in the studio. Collaborating artists around the world, he found his sound.
One of those collaborators is fellow Onatrio native, California-based Hip-hop artist Kid Nozy. Since his debut in 2019, Nozy has released a steady string of successful singles. In that time he has also appeared as a featured artist on projects with numerous other artists. His latest track is his first official pairing with Yung Verma.
“Sweet Talks” is the brand new single from Yung Verma and Kid Nozy, released worldwide to all major streaming services on July 23, 2021. The tune rides on a mellow Trap beat with a deep bass and airy keys that give the track a smooth R&B vibe. A psychedelic mix of vocal effects and synths add to the laid-back mood. Verma delivers the song’s infectiously catchy refrain as he and Kid Nozy trade verses, each recalling romantic scenarios meeting varying degrees of success and failure.
