Inde Black is an up and coming independent Hip-hop and R&B artist from Camden, New Jersey. From an early age he found a home in music, eventually choosing to make it his career. A talented singer, songwriter, engineer and producer, he has worked with a number of other artists in various capacities. In 2019 Black made his solo debut with the song “Take it Down.” Since then, the prolific artist has produced a steady string of singles including three new tracks in 2021.

“Leavin” is the latest single and video from Inde Black, released worldwide to all major streaming services on July 23, 2021. This time he teams up with guest vocalist TaeJaun for a downtempo breakup slow jam. The track rides on a low and slow R&B groove. Ambient synths and trippy vocal samples open the song as it drops into a mellow and slightly psychedelic Trap beat. After a soulful R&B verse from TaeJaun, Inde Black enters the mix. With impressive technique and a natural flow, he alternates between fast chopping rhymes and an emotional melodic rap. Throughout the track the two singers trade verses. Each delivers a tale of heartbreak, regret and anger as he says goodbye to his girl.
