Korvez is the professional name of musician, composer and producer Kimon Katafigiotis. After years of playing in Alternative bands and DJing parties and clubs throughout college, Kimon launched his own recording studio ‘The Ultrascene’ in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Initially producing and mixing tracks for other artists, he gradually found his own music delving into the EDM world and Korvez was born. He made his debut in 2018 with the album “Gravity Defied” and followed in 2020 with “Disco Apocalypse.” His music connected with fans around the world and in late 2020 he signed with influential dance label Quark Records.
“How Good Would That Be (feat. Andrea Angell)” is the latest single from Korvez, released worldwide to all major streaming services on August 5, 2021. An upbeat Disco House groove, the track rolls on some smooth summer romance vibes. A four-on-the-floor beat drives the jam forward as ethereal ambient synths and percussive electronic elements swirl on the horizon creating an expansive and inspirational sound. The track is a perfect mix of classic disco moods and modern EDM production. Meanwhile, vocalist Andrea Angell delivers a feel-good tale of simple and sweet devotion.
