Micah Smith is a singer, songwriter, producer and Christian recording artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. Originally from a small town in Illinois, the singer moved to the ATL to be part of that city’s legendary music community. Citing major contemporary Christian artists like John Mark McMillan, Isla Vista Worship, Gable Price and Friends as influences, he began writing and recording his own original music about 10 years ago. Since 2018 he has had two singles and a five song EP widely distributed.

Micah enters the mix and delivers a narrative of resignation to a higher power in a soulful and earnest Pop tenor. From its humble beginnings the song builds to a powerful and inspirational pop ballad. A percussive rhythm builds in intensity as the singer’s original melancholy tone becomes hopeful and inspirational. It’s a powerful and moving sound.
I had an experience in which things didn’t turn out as I wanted them to, and I was met with disappointment. But I was also met with hope… I wanted to share the experience of hope within disappointment.
