Kamryn Palmer’s New Single & Video ‘use me’

Kamryn Palmer

Kamryn Palmer is a fast emerging singer/songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. The young singing star made her debut in 2018 with the song “Devil in an Angel Disguise.” Since then, the Florida native has relocated to Music City and released a steady string of singles. Each track has connected with fans worldwide, with songs like “Don’t Miss You (The Dog Song)” earning hundreds of thousands of spins on multiple platforms.

“use me” is the latest single from Kamryn Palmer, released worldwide to all major streaming services on August 6, 2021. With an infectiously catchy hook and a slick Country/Pop production, the track finds the singer assessing the sorry state of a toxic relationship as she sings, “I must have ‘use me’ written on my forehead.” The song is accompanied by a very cleverly shot one-take video directed by Seth Kupersmith (North Birch Productions). In a single take with no edits, the film follows the events of a house party. The clip brings to mind Richard Linklater’s classic 1990 cult film “Slacker” as it follows party goers from one room to the next, capturing their many complex interpersonal mini-dramas.
