Oisín Takes Us To His Happy Place

  • by
Oisín

Oisín is a fast emerging R&B/Pop singer/songwriter from Donegal, Ireland. The 19-year old artist has been making music since childhood and first caught the attention of the music world when he was just 17. In 2019 his cover of Ariana Grande’s “Needy” went viral on YouTube. Soon afterward the young singer found himself in demand. He made his first professional recording appearance on Abigail Barlow’s self-titled EP in 2020. Now the young Irishman has dropped his own debut single.

“Happy Place” is the brand new single from Oisín, released worldwide to all major streaming services on July 30, 2021. The tune is set to a smooth electric piano groove riding on a laid-back Hip-hop beat. Oisín delivers his soulful R&B vocal with an infectiously catchy Pop hook as he sings about bringing a relationship around to a better place, the couple’s “Happy Place.” It’s cool bit of Pop soul with an easy and chill vibe

Happy Place was written on my first ever trip to LA. It was the last session of the week, and with most of the other songs turning out to be gloomier ballads, we wanted to switch things up and try something more upbeat.
