Frank Cogliano is a composer and multi-instrumentalist producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Throughout his storied career the multifaceted musician has played numerous and varied roles in the music industry. He toured the world as a guitarist in the internationally acclaimed R&B supergroup Sugarbad. He has produced and composed music for Oscar winning films and hundreds of television productions. Now in 2021 he is taking his compositions public with a series of solo tracks released over the recent months. He specializes in organic instrumental music, featuring all flavors of stringed instruments and vintage recording gear.

The song opens on the minimalist arrangement of drums, bass and the mellow sound of melodic whammy-bar guitar chords reverberating across a broad horizon. Ambient analog synths paint the edges of the mix as the chill downtempo groove creates a scene that is both retro and futuristic, like the score to some Sci-fi Western flick. Eventually the guitar leads into a beautiful and simple open-string melody, carrying the story forward. It’s a great sound.
