Tal Babitzky is a pianist and composer originally from Lithuania and now living in Israel. Over the past two decades the prolific musician has composed hundreds of songs for film, television, other artists and for his own solo projects. In that time Tal has released 9 instrumental studio albums, including two this year. He has performed in clubs, halls and festivals in Israel and Europe. Now in 2021 he adds the title of vocalist to his resume.

“Sisters and Brothers” is the brand new single from Tal Babitzky, released worldwide to all major streaming services on September 8, 2021. The song is his first standalone single and marks his debut as a singer. With music composed by Babitzky and lyrics by Vaughan Daniel, the song was written in 2020 at the height of the worst year in recent history. The emotionally powerful tune has a message for us all; to remember what binds us rather than what divides us.

A single pulsing piano note opens the track. Tal Babitzky enters the mix. Supported by a group of harmonized backing vocalists he sings, “Another new day has begun, the same Earth, the same Sun.” The line sets the premise for an inspirational song that highlights the commonality of all life on the planet. Guitar, bass, drums, strings and even a bit of a Trap beat all join the ensemble at various points in the song. Meanwhile Tal delivers his thesis that we exist in this world to help one another. We are not here to argue about, “What is truth and what are lies.” It is a beautiful song with exactly the message this world needs right now.
