Sensus is a solo singer, songwriter and producer making his professional debut in 2021. The Virginia based artist has been making music throughout much of his life. At just 8 years-old he was already composing and making beats. Now 19, the talented young creator is taking his sound public, recording, performing, producing, mixing and mastering his music entirely on his own. His sound is a unique mix of musical genres, citing influences ranging from Bob Marley to Machine Gun Kelly.
“If I Went With You” is the debut single from Sensus, released worldwide on September 5, 2021. Riding on an upbeat groove the catchy Indie Pop track mixes creative instrumentation with clever stream of consciousness lyrics. A cool mix of harmonized bass guitars and lo-fi drums pulls us in as the singer delivers a meditation on isolation and the search for human connection. Singing to an unnamed love interest he delivers the honest plea, “If I’m what you want then say. If not, don’t stay in hopes I’ll change.”
