VB is the professional name of R&B singer/songwriter Victor Williams. The Winston-Salem, North Carolina native made his recording debut late last year with the single “Stack it Up.” That track introduced a soulful singer with a Hip-hop vibe. VB started making music in college. He stepped away from a promising career in Football to focus on his grades and to devote time to his true passion, music. A steady string of successful releases followed.
Since his debut, the singer has already amassed an impressive catalog of 9 singles. He plans to continue releasing new music each month. “Run it Up” is the latest single from VB, released worldwide to all major streaming services on August 27, 2021. This time Williams is joined by guest rapper PMG DIA.
“Run it Up” rides on a mellow Trap beat. A minor-key classical piano backing track plays as VB sings a smooth ode to the grind. He and PMG DIA trade verses, each touting their prowess at making money, making music and getting ladies. It’s a cool groove with a catchy chorus and nice vocal harmony breakdown in the bridge.
