TWAIN’s Freestyle Flow & New School Concepts

TWAIN is a veteran Hip-hop artist with a modern sound and a timeless style. Originally from Chicago, he now calls Minneapolis, Minnesota home. For the better part of a decade the talented emcee has been entertaining Hip-hop fans in the midwest and beyond with live shows and a string of successful singles, EPs and albums. 

In that time the award-winning rapper has been featured by high-profile media outlets like Audiomack and MnSpin. He was recognized by Chicago radio station  96.3 B96 as a Homegrown Featured Artist. In Minneapolis he has helped to foster the local music scene by founding and curating the indie concert series A NIGHT OVER SOUTH in 2016, and TWIN CITIES MUSIC LOUNGE in 2018. He released his latest full length album ‘Central Standard Time’ in 2020 and now he has followed up with a brand new track for 2021.

“Concepts” is the latest single from TWAIN, released worldwide to all major streaming services on September 14, 2021. The track opens with dark ambient synths before a downtempo, LUKE-O produced Trap beat drops and TWAIN enters the mix with his old-school lyrical freestyle flow. Deep bass swells fill the low end as the rapper drops science, philosophy and a bit of history.
