Jay Flex is a 21 year-old singer, songwriter, producer and rapper from Tullahoma, Tennessee. He made his professional debut in 2019 with a series of singles on SoundCloud. Since then he has dropped over two dozen more tracks to the platform, as well as a number of singles and the EP “Welcome to the Party ” to major streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music.
The music is one branch of the artist’s new brand ‘Lost Wrld,’ a creative vehicle he created with his business partner TellHerISkatee to inspire people through art and music. In 2020 Jay Flex dropped out of college to commit his energies to the project 100%. Since then, the team has built a loyal fanbase and have collaborated with a number of other artists including Kmarzz, Delay, Lord Rogue, and Tythesamurai.
“Dream Girl” is the latest single from Jay Flex and the Lost Wrld brand, released worldwide to all major streaming services on September 10, 2021. The track opens on a mix of Emo guitars and ambient synths with Jay introducing the song’s infectiously catchy hook. Soon a mellow, downtempo Trap beat drops and a deep synth bass hold down the low end. What follows is a sweet tale of small town love and big dreams set to a chill Pop/Hip-hop groove. Nice backing vocal harmonies and ethereal keys paint the edges of the mix to complete the dreamy vibe.

Where are you from?
I’m from Tullahoma Tennessee
How long have you been making music?
I have been making music since 2019! I started off just making beats with my friend Lord Rogue who is another talented artist! I made my first rap song on a beat that we had collaborated on and never looked back! The musical journey is a very long but a beautiful process.
Who are your biggest musical influences?
I honestly have a lot of musical inspirations because I have a broad taste in music! Juice Wrld and J.Cole are two of them because they make music that is very relatable! One day I will be on their level and will be able to make an impact on this world. That’s the goal!
What inspired you to create this project?
I was inspired to make this song because of a girl who motivates me to be a better me! I am not very good at expressing my feelings so music is how I do that! I try to make music that someone can relate to, and hopefully help them through anything
What are your plans for the future (musically)?
I plan to turn my brand “Lost Wrld” into a record label in the future as well as get more videos for my fans! My supporters mean to world to me and I want to give them what they deserve
