Le Sonic is the professional name of the music production duo of Mike Rogers and Gary Lefkowith. The two veteran producers, songwriters and recording artists work with a team of top artists to bring their creative vision to life. They blend artistic creativity and modern technology into smooth instrumental moods.
Mike Rogers has made a career of working with legends of popular music. He has been behind the boards for everyone from Sinead O’Connor to The Fat Boys. He even engineered and co-produced the Deee-Lite smash hit “Groove is in the Heart.” Gary Lefkowith has worked on both sides of the music industry. In addition to his work as a published songwriter and producer, he has worked for decades in radio promotion. Throughout his career Gary has worked records for icons like Elvis Presley and modern superstars like Meghan Trainer.
“Any Moment” is the debut single from Le Sonic, released worldwide to all major streaming services on September 10, 2021. For their inaugural outing the group went with a Smooth Jazz track featuring the guitar stylings of Robert “Bobby” Lee Balderrama. The legendary guitarist is well known for his work with band ‘? and the Mysterians.’ He co-wrote their iconic 60’s Hit “96 Tears,” one of Rolling Stone Magazine’s 500 Greatest Songs of all time. Special guest musicians Dennis Collins, Jim Hynes, and Frank Rodriguez round out the band.
Riding on a downtempo 6/8 Blues beat, “Any Moment” is a laid back bit of Sunday morning Jazz. Electric piano, bass, drums and ethereal vocal harmonies intertwine to create a chilled out vibe. Meanwhile, Lee’s guitar trades smooth bluesy leads with Jim Hynes’ trumpet for a perfect laid-back, meditative groove.
“Any Moment” is that spark of creativity in jazz improvisation, or any true art form, that is spontaneous and naturally intersects with the highest level of spirituality.
