Without Doubt is the new solo project from Austin, Texas singer, songwriter and producer Jonathan Jay. Geowing up, Jonathan listened to legendary Alternative Rock and Pop/Punk bands like Linkin Park, Simple Plan and Blink 182. About four years ago Jay started writing and recording his own songs but only recently went public. He is making his professional solo recording debut in 2021 with two brand new singles.
“Use You” is the latest single and video from Without Doubt, released worldwide to all major streaming services on August 27, 2021. The track opens on a minor-kay Alt-Rock chord progression. With multiple tracks of melodic guitars and a mix of live and electronic drums, Jay combines the Rock vibes of his influences with a modern Emo Trap groove. As the song progresses, the singer delivers a tale of love and devotion that succeeds despite the odds.
It is about that one special someone you can go to and express all of yourself with no judgment. And know matter how dark your past is. That someone will still be there for you!
