Tucker Ronzetti is a singer, songwriter and guitarist based in Miami, Florida. He is a storyteller who spins his tales in a rootsy mix of Rock, Blues and Folk music. After years of touring up and down the East Coast with his bands Remaindermen and Carnival Haggis, Tucker headed to the studio with his guitar and an arsenal of songs. Since the 2019 release of his debut solo single “Thoughts and Prayers,” the prolific artist has produced a string of singles, EPs and a full length album in under two years.
“Tired of Troubadours” is the latest EP from Tucker Ronzetti, released worldwide to all major streaming services on October 15, 2021. Through the course of the six song collection the artist takes us through tales of heartache, love and longing set to a soundtrack built on the great traditions of American Roots music. The record opens on the dark Blues of “The Devil Speaks to Me.” A swampy mix of organ, bass, drums and guitar simmer as Ronzetti sings of being lost and disillusioned. The record soon shifts to a much lighter mood on the track “Let’s Stay in Bed,” a sweet love song sung by Cara Ronzetti with a 50’s doo-wop vibe and a touch of Jazz.
“Armageddon Blues” starts off deep in the Delta with a bit of acoustic Blues. However, the song soon takes a turn to the joyfully absurd as the singer delivers a 60’s Pop inspired dark fantasy about the end of world, a time in which “children dance with the dead.” “Low Down” takes us back to the Blues with some great, grungy slide guitar. The title track follows with an acoustic guitar and accordion waltz, telling the story of two lost souls connecting after a lifetime of love’s disappointment. The EP closes on a beautiful acoustic Folk love song. Once again Cara Ronzetti steps to the mic for “In Love Again,” a sweet tale of new love.
