Graham Trude is a Canadian singer, songwriter and guitarist with the stories of a soldier and the heart of an artist. Known as the ‘singing soldier,’ Graham served on the front lines in Afghanistan and then again when he returned home as a police officer in the indigenous communities of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation. His music soon became a cathartic way for the singer to share his experiences and lessons learned.
Over the past decade Graham Trude has enjoyed success at home and around the globe. With tracks like “Don’t Lose Your Small Town” and “PTSD” he has connected with fans worldwide. He even wrote the theme song for a Canadian television series. His sound pairs a deeply personal songwriting style with a unique Country/Rock vibe, drawing inspiration from multiple genres.
“Home Crowd” is the latest single and video from Graham Trude, released worldwide to YouTube on October 22, 2021. On the new track Graham is joined by fellow Ontario singer Simone Denny for a fist-pumping superfan anthem. The song opens with a foot-stomping beat and an arena-Rock guitar riff. Soon Simone and Graham trade verses, each declaring their devotion to the home team. In the chorus the song erupts into a Monday Night Football-worthy anthem. Its a powerful, fun and universally relatable song delivered with soul by two talented vocalists.
