ProddyBeatz is an emerging DJ and Hip-hop producer from Orange Cove, California. In recent years the beatmaker and composer has worked behind the boards for a number of West Coast artists. He has also gained a reputation around the Fresno area as a skilled live DJ. Earlier this month he worked the decks for a record breaking crowd at The Big Fresno Fair, the largest fair in California.
In June of this year, ProddyBeatz added another line to his résumé when he released his debut single “PokerGame,” a collaboration with rapper Eddie Kangz. Now the prolific producer has teamed up with North Carolina emcee Chain999 for his sophomore release, an emotional breakup song set to a laid-back beat.
I have been working hard on this since January but I couldn’t really find the right artist to fit this very emotional song. Chain999 delivered.

“EVOL” is the brand new single from ProddyBeatz and Chain999, released worldwide to all major streaming services on October 22, 2021. The track opens with a slice of real life as we hear a young woman berate her ex in a voicemail message (‘evol’ is ‘love’ spelled backwards). Soon, Chain999 enters the mix with a Hip-hop relationship post mortem. Meanwhile, ambient synths and piano chords ride a downtempo Trap beat for a hypnotic and emotional groove.
