Esteban Lartigue is a singer, songwriter and guitarist based in Chicago, Illinois. A native of Monterrey, Mexico, his musical life began at a young age. It was an artistic household. His parents were both teachers. In their youth Dad was an actor and Mom a dancer. A young Esteban entered music school when he was just 4 years old and he has been singing ever since.
After moving to Chicago to work as an engineer, Esteban Lartigue immersed himself in the local artistic community. He continued his classical opera training under the tutelage of Velia Botti. And he connected with the local Folk community. Now Esteban is making his solo debut as a singer/songwriter.
“Entregar el Corazón” (surrender the heart) is the brand new single from Esteban Lartigue, released worldwide to all major streaming services on October 8, 2021. Ambient chimes introduce the track as the mix slowly grows to include piano, organ, guitar, bass and drums. The ensemble lays down a soulful and bluesy take on this melancholy minor-key Pop ballad. Esteban Lartigue gives an emotionally powerful performance as he sings in Spanish of starting a new life and discarding the emotional baggage of the past.
