London Dre’s New Hip-hop Mission of Healing

london dre

London Dre is an emerging rapper and songwriter on a mission. The Memphis, Tennessee native began seriously pursuing a professional career in music five years ago. Through most of that time he recorded and performed as ‘Doc Todd.’ His music drew primarily from his experiences as an Afghanistan War combat veteran. It struck a chord with fans around the world, earning him awards and hundreds of thousands of spins on iTunes and Spotify.

Recently he changed his name and shifted the focus of his career. Doc Todd became London Dre. It was a risky move. His Doc Todd persona was a fast rising star, but Dre knew that the change was necessary to stay true to his own personal convictions. With a renewed commitment to helping others, London Dre got down to business.

“All I do” is the brand new single from London Dre, released worldwide to all major streaming services on October 28, 2021. The track opens with a monolog from the artist. He explains his decision to leave his former career as a step toward creative freedom and mental health. Soon a hard Trap beat drops and the emcee delivers an excellent old-school lyrical rap about his commitment to the grind. However, the rapper is not concerned with making fat stacks. He’s committed to a more noble cause.

My mission and focus right now are about positively impacting race relations and mental health. I am motivated by impact not money.
