Frettz Drops New Video ‘Can’t Take It’

frettz

Frettz is a fast emerging international music producer and artist who has produced an impressive catalog of work in a relatively short period of time. Born in London with roots from India to the Caribbean, the multitalented musician moved to Spain at 2 and then back to London to study music production and engineering when he was just 16 years old. Since then he has worked with countless other artists as a beat maker, composer and collaborator.

His success behind the scenes eventually prompted the talented young creator to set out on his own as a solo artist. Frettz debuted in 2020 with the laid-back Trap single “Waste.” Since then he has produced a remarkable catalog of work. Releasing new music monthly, over the past two years he has delivered two full length albums and two dozen singles.

“Can’t Take It” is the latest single and video from Frettz, released worldwide to all major streaming services on October 14, 2021. Ambient synths introduce the track as Frettz enters the mix with a smooth melodic rap. The beat drops with a downtempo Hip-hop groove and deep, trippy EDM bass tones. Subtle Caribbean percussion paints the edges of the sound as Frettz and guest rapper Jay Splitz trade verses about rising above the hate and staying positive.

The “Can’t Take It” video was directed and produced by Alba Harden. Check it out below. You can also hear the track on the Deep Indie Beat playlist, or listen on your favorite streaming service.
