Lady DJ Shimae is a multi-talented artist on a musical journey that has led her across the country and through numerous phases of her creative career. Originally from the Midwest, she made her way to California before finally landing in Las Vegas, Nevada. She started out as a singer and has a 5 year catalog of original music on SoundCloud as ‘Lady Shimae.’
At first, she was buying beats online for her original compositions. However, nothing she found had the right vibe so she taught herself to produce her own tracks. Now she’s making beats for herself and other artists around the world, with over 150 available for sale on her Beatstars profile. She also releases her own original tracks as Lady DJ Shimae.
“Trance” is the brand new single from Lady DJ Shimae, released worldwide to all major streaming services on October 29, 2021. The track rides on a mellow, downtempo Hip-hop beat. Ambient synths and percussive arpeggios set the scene as a trippy vocal sample plays the track’s main melodic hook. It’s a great laid back groove incorporating elements of Pop, EDM and Synthwave to create a perfect 4:34 of chill.
