Noisegun is a French/American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist producer with a taste for classic Alternative Electronic music. He was born in Marseille, France and now lives in Long Beach in Los Angeles County, California where he creates his uniquely modern/retro vibes.
“Pulsation” is the latest single and video from Noisegun, released worldwide to all major streaming services on October 8, 2021. After a series of pulsating synth arpeggios introduce the tune, a classic drum machine drops the beat on a fully electronic retro groove. The track mixes elements of Dark Wave and Synth-Pop into a subdued, sexy and ominous mood.
Sung almost entirely in French, the song paints an exotic portrait of late nights, distant lands and mystery. The track has a steady heartbeat of electronic Euro Pop. It’s a great sound for any fan of classic Dark Wave and New Wave bands like Depeche Mode, The Cure or Joy Division. The song’s accompanying video furthers that theme with scenes of neon-lit city streets and beautiful women in smoky settings.
It is an autobiographical song based on my experience traveling abroad and meeting a sexy, mysterious lover.
