David D’Alessio is a singer/songwriter who has followed the music from one end of the United States to the other. Born in Hawaii and raised in Arizona, David now calls New York City home. Since his 2007 debut album “Songs to Undress Your Ego” the singer has toured every corner of the continent in support of artists like Colbie Caillat, Brett Dennen, Missy Higgins and Lifehouse. In 2014 he released his critically acclaimed sophomore effort “Some Girls.” In the years since, his music has appeared on numerous national and international television and film productions for Hallmark, Freeform, NBC and many more.
“This Far Apart” is the latest EP from David D’Alessio, released worldwide to all major streaming services on September 24, 2021. On the 7-song collection David branches out beyond the acoustic guitar singer/songwriter mold to explore different avenues of Pop, Soul and romantic piano ballads. The record’s current single “Everything We Want” is an Americana-tinged Pop song about the endurance of a hard fought long term love affair. He delivers his romantic epic with a smooth and soulful vocal and rich mix of live, organic instrumentation. It’s a great sound with a universally relatable tale of love, longing and devotion.
