STIN is the professional name of Newport Beach, California singer, songwriter and rapper Austin Evett. After a decade of collaborating with other artists he launched a solo career in 2019 with the song “Escape.” Since then, the prolific musician has dropped a dozen singles. With each track he further expands the scope of his sound.
“Take a Ride” is one of the latest singles from STIN, released worldwide to all major streaming services on July 16, 2021. In a stylistic departure from his earlier Emo Trap singles, Evett deals a chill low rider with an infectious vibe, perfect for a cruise up the coast.

Deep 808 bass tones ride a hard, lo-fi Trap beat. A trippy mix of analog synths, percussion and guitars paint the periphery, setting a wild, psychedelic scene. Meanwhile, the rapper drops a mesmerizing freestyle. With a cool laid-back but rapid-fire rhythmic flow he calls out his haters, lovers and phony rappers.
