Dez Pave is an emerging independent Hip-hop artist from Staten Island, NY. He made his professional recording debut in 2017. Since then, the prolific rapper has amassed an impressive catalog of work. He has produced four full length albums in that time, including 2021’s eighteen track “Another Gamble.”

“Blitz” is the latest single from Dez Pave, released worldwide to all major streaming services on October 1, 2021. A sampled piano arpeggio plays in a loop over a Lo-fi boombap beat as Pave delivers a hardcore diss track. It’s a great old-school groove and just the right backdrop for a classic rap battle.

In 2013 Kendrick Lamar contributed a verse to Big Sean’s single “Control” and proceeded to call out a number of rappers and subsequently dub himself the ‘King of NY.’ Dez Pave did not appreciate that. “Blitz” is his devastating and brutal response. For 5:00 he delivers incessant blows to the superstar rapper. Dez says his goal is no less than to let the world know he believes he is the true top dawg in the rap industry.
