Ardent Hale is an up and coming singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist music producer from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Although the talented young artist is making his debut in 2021, the launch comes as a result of a lifetime of music making. As a child he picked up his first instruments as soon as his hands were big enough to do so, and he has been creating music ever since.
“Castle” is the debut single from Ardent Hale, released worldwide to all major streaming services on November 20, 2021. The track opens on a soft and melancholy verse as a female singer tells the tale of a dysfunctional relationship over a melancholy solo guitar. Soon the ensemble expands to include bass, drums and cello as Ardent enters the mix to deliver his soulful take on this beautiful and heartbreaking duet. The song tells of the devastating collateral emotional damage that a romantic collapse can cause a family.
It’s really special to me to be able to create something beautiful and share it with others even though it may not have been created from the most positive of emotions. It really turns a bad memory into a fond, enjoyable experience.
