New Jersey EDM DJ and producer Pat Triano first appeared on The Static Dive in August upon the release of his single “Goodbye Summer.” That song and the subsequent “Lullaby” represented a comeback of sorts for the talented musician who was silent for seven years after his debut single “The Apex.” In 2021 he is making up for lost time.
A multi-faceted and eclectic songwriter, Pat Triano seems to be on a mission to create a whole new genre of music. His sound mixes elements of multiple distinct musical styles with the many different flavors of House music. Alternative Rock guitars meet tropical House grooves and infectious Pop hooks ride deep club beats. His new single is his most sophisticated and adventurous so far.
“Fade Away” is the brand new single from Pat Triano, released worldwide to all major streaming services on November 24, 2021. The song opens on a percussive, Classical-inspired piano intro. Vocalists Jolie and Tim Pitchford enter the mix with an emotional duet. The song slowly builds in intensity. And then the beat drops.
Suddenly the dramatic Dark Pop ballad transforms into an upbeat House banger. A driving EDM beat propels the track forward as anthemic synths add a whole new vibe to the song’s main melody. In the bridge the track takes a brief detour with an Emo Rock guitar, bass and vocal interlude. However, the quiet contemplation doesn’t last long and in no time we are back on the dance floor.
