ETAN is a singer, songwriter and producer with a uniquely international vibe. Born in London and raised there till she was 9 years-old when her family moved to the sunny Mediterranean city of Tel Aviv, Israel. A lifelong musician rasied in an artistic family, she began her training when she was just 5 years old.
She made her professional solo recording debut in 2020 with the classic Alt/Synth-Pop sounds of the song “Duck Down.” Since then ETAN has delivered a steady string of singles. With each new release she further defines and refines her distinctive retro/modern sound.
“Hang On To Me” is the latest single and video from ETAN, released worldwide to all major streaming services on November 12, 2021. The track opens with the smooth sounds of classic 80’s ambient synths. Soon a percussive, downbeat groove drops and the singer enters the mix with heartfelt tale of love and co-dependency.
The song’s lush Synthwave tones and ETAN’s soulful style give the track a cool vibe that lands somewhere between Kate Bush and Macy Gray. It’s a great sound. The track’s sensual video features the singer alone, singing to the camera and pleading with her lover to stay with her. Amazingly, the beautiful visuals were shot during lockdown on an iPhone.
