Indigo Daydream Debuts Surreal New Vibes

Life Might Not Be Real

Indigo Daydream is a new Alternative Rock project from singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist producer Nick Cheshire. The UK singer, songwriter and composer launched the band in September with the debut single “Enter the Indigo Daydream.” The track is a clever introductory mashup of the psychedelic grooviness on deck from the project.

“Life Might Not Be Real” is the latest single and video from Indigo Daydream, released worldwide to all major streaming services on November 5, 2021. As its title suggests, the song is a surreal bit of psychedelia that questions the tangibility of the so-called “real” world.

Layers of ethereal vocal harmonies float on a downtempo Indie Rock groove. Ambient synths and acoustic guitars paint the periphery. You’ll want to dim the lights, fire up the lava lamp and your favorite bong as Cheshire riffs on the possible non-existence of existence. The track is paired with an equally trippy video in which aliens torment London and Zebras sprout butterfly wings.

On December 10th Indigo Daydream will drop their follow-up single “How Would it Feel to Know the Truth,” promising more Alice in Wonderland and Matrix inspired hallucinogenic fun. Check out the “Life Might Not Be Real” video below. You can also hear the track on the Deep Indie Chill playlist, or listen on your favorite streaming service.
