300 South’s New Old-School Celebration

300 south

300 South is a multi-genre record producer from Chicago, Illinois. He has worked on countless projects over the years, producing music for other artists and himself. The prolific creator has worked in every different flavor of Hip-hop and Electronic music. However, for this new project he is keeping his identity a secret, choosing to be known only by the name 300 South.

In August of this year the producer made his solo debut as 300 South with the single “Palace.” A slow and low groove, the track featured rappers Fukkit and Mula Kkhan dropping some dark and dramatic drill rap. The beat matched that mood with a downtempo Trap beat and ominous minor-key ambient synths.

“Celebration” is the latest single from 300 South, released worldwide to all major streaming services on September 24, 2021. On the new song he takes us into a completely different realm of Hip-hop. The track rolls on a laid-back 70’s Soul music sample. An emotional R&B mix of vocal, piano and strings rides a funky breakbeat rhythm. As that classic groove rolls on, Chicago rappers Rockie Fresh , LaQuan, DMV rapper Xl hope , and Miami rapper Kyriq deliver an old-school ensemble freestyle rap.

The track is a great vibe for any fan of classic, old-school Hip-hop. Check it out below. You can also hear the song on the Deep Indie Beat playlist, or listen on your favorite streaming service.
