Originally from Philadelphia, Sabir is now based in Riviera Beach, Florida. His work covers a wide range of issues, from racial injustice to child abuse. He works to right these wrongs through education. On his latest single the singer digs into some deep, dark biblical territory.
“Devil’s Way” is the latest single from Sabir Alim, released worldwide to all major streaming services on November 24, 2021. A lo-fi boombap beat carries the groove as Sabir runs through a series of Old Testament tales from Adam & Eve’s Garden of Eden to Moses’ exodus and Noah’s flood. He then correlates this fire and brimstone history to our modern world with an eye specifically on Black history in America, from slavery to the present day.
