We first heard from Stemin in November upon the release of his single “Our Universe, Our Galaxy.” That track introduced readers of The Static Dive to a multi-talented, classically trained singer and multi-instrumentalist. A fast emerging international star based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, he made his professional solo recording debut in 2020 with the R&B-fueled album “#tellyourheart.”
Born in Switzerland and raised in Italy, Stemin earned his BA of Arts from Saint Louis College of Music in Rome where he studied Jazz, R&B and Classical music. He later continued his studies in the Netherlands where he earned his Masters in composition and performance at the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen. In early 2022 the singer will deliver his second full-length release, the much anticipated “Unspoken Dreams.”
“Falling” is the latest single from Stemin, released worldwide to all major streaming services on December 3, 2021. The track is the second single from his forthcoming album. Italian singer Chiara Stroia joins him on the song. A successful singer/songwriter in her own right, Chiara has written and co-written international hits for superstars like Ricky Martin and Carla Morrison.
A laid-back and funky Jazz drum shuffle beats at the heart of the track as mellow electric piano chords lay down a smooth R&B vibe. Stemin and Chiara enter the mix and deliver a soulful and romantic duet. The minimalist ensemble is embellished only by the addition of bass and some subtle ambient synths. It is a beautiful and ethereal sound accentuated by the duo’s impeccable harmonies.
