The duo made their professional recording debut as 6thUnderground in October of 2020 with the release of their debut EP “4UD10T-R1P.” That record introduced a group with a flare for experimentation and a sound that mixed elements of Rock, Hip-hop and Electronic Music into a wholly unique vibe. Since then the prolific producers have delivered a remarkable volume of work including 11 singles, 2 EPs and a full-length album.
“Black Sheep” is the latest single from 6thUnderground, released worldwide to all major streaming services on September 11, 2021. The track opens on a Nirvana-style Lo-fi guitar before the beat drops on a midtempo Trap groove. Jazmin enters the mix, delivering anecdotes about her own misadventures in an energetic melodic rap. As the song progresses it moves through Hip-hop verses and Alternative Rock choruses as the two singers defiantly declare their independence from their parents and embrace their own dreams.
