STANKY LOVE – What I Miss The Most

  • by
stanky love

STANKY LOVE is a fast emerging Alternative Hip-hop artist from Providence, Rhode Island. The rapper made his professional solo recording debut in 2021. He recently dropped a pair of new singles. The tracks are the precursors to the forthcoming release of his debut full length album “Generation RX.”

“What I Miss The Most” is the first single from Generation RX, released worldwide on July 28, 2021. STANKY LOVE DELIVERS an emotionally packed Hip-hop torch song. In a first person letter to his ex the rapper delivers an apologetic relationship postmortem over a downtempo groove.

The rapper cites legends like Eminem, 2Pac Shakur, and The Notorious B.I.G as inspiration. We can hear their influence in his 90s-style lyrical flow. On “What I Miss The Most” STANKY LOVE combines his old-school style with a modern beat and a healthy dose of Emo. A mellow guitar plays a minor-key chord progression as dark ambient synths set a haunted mood. Deep bass tones rumble the floor beneath the song’s slow Trap groove.
