Suzic and Ultra_eko are both familiar names around here. The former is the professional name of award-winning Irish songwriter and composer, Suzanne Carroll. Over the past three decades she has built a successful independent music career. Her music has been played at radio, TV and live events around the world. South London rapper, singer and musician Ultra_eko burst onto the scene in 2019 with a wealth of material and a mysterious backstory. “Heaven” is the brand new collaboration from Suzic and Ultra_eko, released worldwide to all major streaming services on November 27, 2021. Dramatic minor-key strings introduce the song as a vocalist sings soulfully in the distance. Soon Ultra_eko enters the mix with his signature lyrical flow.
Suzic paints a cinematic scene with strings, synths, deep Bass tones and a hard Trap beat. Ultra_eko then steps to the mic and dissects the temporary and transient digital reality of our modern world. He seeks a more meaningful spiritual connection and does not find it. The female vocalist from the intro answers him like a Greek chorus, contemplating the greed and selfishness that keep us from finding Heaven on Earth.
