PPJ

PPJ is the professional name of songwriter and electronic music producer Jan Demeyere. He made his professional recording debut as PPJ in 2019 with the single “Raindrops.” That song introduced an adventurous EDM artist with a taste for ethereal moods and melodic House grooves.

Since his debut, Jan has dropped a steady string of singles that have connected with fans worldwide. Tracks like “Get it Back,” “Give Me What I Need” and “Just Fun” count their streaming numbers in the tens of thousands across multiple platforms. The talented composer performs and records his music at his private studio in Belgium.

I work alone which gives me a lot of freedom in working hours and this gives me the opportunity to only work on music when I’m in a creative mood.

“Médard” is the latest single from PPJ, released worldwide to all major streaming services on December 17, 2021. Inspired by the birth of a friend’s child, the uplifting instrumental piece sets a cool and spacious vibe. Airy Synthwave keys introduce the track and set the scene. Soon the beat drops. Electronic arpeggios dance on a driving Deep House groove. Ambient synths float on the periphery and expand the horizon as the song transitions through a series of emotional swells and a mix of trippy vocal samples. That shuffling EDM beat continues to drive the tune forward as it builds an increasingly uplifting mood.

Check out “Médard” below. You can also hear the track on the Deep Indie Dance playlist, or listen on your favorite streaming service. Follow the links below to connect with PPJ. Get on his socials and get in the loop on all of the current and future projects from this multifaceted producer.
