Mushtamusic is a brand new international and multicultural Hip-hop artist and production team. Although the group is based in the UK, they are targeting a global audience. With plans to produce music in multiple languages, their goal is to reach music fans around the world with relatable tales inspired by real life.
“AK47” is the debut single from Mushtamusic, released worldwide to all major streaming services on December 23, 2021. The track is a dark drill rap delivered in verses that alternate between Albanian and English. A dramatic piano introduces the tune while a mellow mix of percussion paints the edges of the sound.
Soon the beat drops on a hard Trap groove. The slow and low downtempo 808 beat rolls on as a deep synth bass rumbles the floor. Mushtamusic and featured rapper Fannow enter the mix with a ride or die gangsta rap narrative. The emcees deliver their tale with a laid-back flow but an intensely serious vibe.
AK47 is a true story based on my own experience and I believe there will be a lot more people who could relate to my story.
