“Queen” is the debut single from Alia Afifi, released worldwide to all major streaming services on December 31, 2021. The track was written and produced by Mahmood Kira. He sets a rich multi-genre scene for the singer. Alia cites artists like H.E.R., Big Sean, 6lack and Lana Del Rey as inspiration for deeply soulful R&B and Jazz-infused style.

Indie-Pop guitars and ethereal synths ride a downtempo Trap groove as Alia Afifi delivers an emotional testimony of self-assurance. She easily navigates her wide vocal range, from a deep and smokey tenor to angelic highs as she sings, “I’m no ordinary girl in this ordinary world. I’m a star, can’t you see?”
