Time Slave is an independent composer and producer who made his professional solo recording debut in 2020 with the instrumental single “Road of Regrets.” That track introduced a a talented and multifaceted artist with a taste for cinematic piano music. The otherwise anonymous musician keeps his location and identification private, preferring to let his music do the talking.
Since releasing that first single, the prolific composer has produced 8 songs in total. Although his first few tracks were instrumentals, in 2021 Time Slave began collaborating with a series of vocalists to add a narrative to his tracks. He writes deeply personal Dark Pop songs that explore feelings of depression and loneliness.
On January 28, 2022 Time Slave released a brand new video for the single “Lost Again.” Ambient synths and minor key piano and strings introduce the song. Soon a downtempo Hip-hop beat drops. A male vocalist enters the mix with a tragic tale of loss and confusion. Rapping through the verse, in the chorus the singer delivers a mournful melody in the verse. Minor-key piano arpeggios paint the edges of the mix.
