Ramener is a brand new band on a mission to bring back the energy and attitude of classic Punk and Grunge. The hard rocking trio first came together last year. The group’s name is French and translates in English to ‘to bring back.’ They were originally known as ‘The Undone’ but eventually landed on a moniker that better suited their mission.
The three piece unit consists of Rich Pacella on guitar, Ricardo Diaz on bass and Sam Levine on drums. Their sound combines the raw energy of classic Punk with the technical complexity of modern Metal. The band played their first live shows in November of 2021 and have already established themselves as a band to watch by introducing improvisation into their sound.
“Dogs” is the debut single from Ramener, released worldwide to all major streaming services on February 4, 2022. The track opens on the familiar guitar crunch of a simple Ramones-style classic two chord Punk intro. After a brief first verse the band shifts to descending chromatic progression that brings to mind 80’s hardcore bands like The Circle Jerks. Later in the bridge the band’s sound incorporates elements of Metal and 90’s Grunge. It is a great mix and the band executes it brilliantly.
