Seethe is the brainchild of singer, songwriter and producer Patrick McElravy. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania musician is best known as the vocalist of hardcase Metal band ‘9 Stitch Method.’ His new project was born out of the lockdowns and quarantines of 2020. The singer launched Seethe to explore the more experimental sounds of Nu-Metal.
McElravy debuted Seethe in June of 2020 with the EP “Blueprints for Introspection.” Since then the prolific producer has delivered a remarkable volume of work. In less than two years he has released two full length albums, four EPs and two singles. In that time he has been featured in the publication “Nu Metal: The Definitive Guide” and appeared on the world record breaking track “666” by Nylist.
“Dislocate” is the latest single from Seethe, released worldwide to all major streaming services on January 25, 2022. Distorted minor-key electronic arpeggios introduce the tune, setting an ominous scene. Soon a hard beat drops mixing elements of Trap and Industrial. A distorted sawtooth electronic bass rides overdriven kick drums as McElravy delivers a chaotic lead vocal of horror screams and guttural growls. It is an intense 2:03, high-octane cyber Metal assault.
