SonnyBoy Williams is a singer, songwriter and guitarist with a timeless sound rooted in the Blues. Born in Okinawa, Japan and now resides in the United States. The talented multi-instrumentalist Williams writes, records, performs and produces his original music at his Right Side Records recording studio in Silverfalls, Oregon. Although he has been playing for years, the singer just made his professional solo recording debut in 2021.
I’ve spent most of my life as a silent outcast, but I refuse to remain silent. I’m here because I believe music is the most valuable thing in our lives, and I’m honored and blessed that I can contribute to that.
SonnyBoy Williams
To date, SonnyBoy Williams has released four singles. It all started with his debut single “Vice,” dropped worldwide to all major streaming services on February 25, 2021. The song opens on the singer strumming a mellow Country waltz on his acoustic guitar. Through the first verse he sings what seems to be a melancholy romantic ballad. However, as the song progresses it becomes clear that this is more than a simple love song. A full ensemble of bass, drums, strings and tremolo electric guitar joins in as SonnyBoy Williams’ delivers a bluesy tale of obsession and addiction.
