Discordian musicians from around the world have emerged from the universal chaos with a brand new genre-bending compilation. The Discordian Society is an international group of like minded philosophical folks who view the world through the lens of Eris, the Goddess of chaos.
Discordianism is a philosophy based on the 1963 publication ‘Principia Discordia’ by Malaclypse the Younger and Omar Khayyam Ravenhurst. With the Greek goddess Eris at the center of the philosophy, the book views both order and disorder as illusory concepts created by humans in a poor attempt to explain our complex universe.
‘Erisian Ear Candy and the Depths of Inner Dimensions Sweetmorn Discord 18th, Yold 3188’ is the new 11-track Alternative/Experimental compilation from Dragon’s Pig Media. Contributing artists include; Happy Casualties, Luxem Tenebra, KLAYR, AKFRU, Fibr, Lorelei Roux, LiliGazer, Becca Samseau, Matty, Jackie Dilworth and EarBone.
Under the guidance of experimental electronic producer Lorelei Roux, the international group of Discordian artists put the album together, “In an effort to intersect music and philosophical thought to capture the essence of Eris.” All proceeds benefit the Discordian Society.
