Iuliano is an international independent singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist producer with a unique, genre-defying sound. Born in Italy, he was first taught to play the piano as a child by his musician grandfather. The experience launched a musical journey that would bring the artist to every corner of the world. Eventually Iuliano found his way to the United States and studied music and production at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. From there he worked as a record producer throughout Europe and Malaysia before launching his solo career in 2018 with the EP “Hidden Roots”
Both a commercial and critical success, “Hidden Roots” earned the artist ‘Best Producer’ in the “Folk singer-songwriter” category at the Independent Music Awards. Fans have reacted as well and the record has spawned millions of streams across multiple platforms. Now based in Bangkok, Iuliano is currently preparing the release of his sophomore EP “De-Algorithm,” due in April 2022.
“Cinderella, Pt 2” is the brand new single from Iuliano, released worldwide to all major streaming services on January 21, 2022. The track opens with a softly picked nylon string guitar and some minimal percussion. The singer enters the mix with a a bit of whispered Soul and a cryptic tale of love and despair. In the chorus, ambient synths and a deep dark reverb expands the mix and gives the song an ethereal quality. As the track progresses backing vocals, strings and electronic experimentation launch the tune into some groovy psychedelic corners.
