CaS Stylo Drops New Twist On A Classic

CaS Stylo
CaS Stylo – Friends (remix)

CaS Stylo is an emerging independent Hip-hop artist with a unique style that pairs an old-school lyrical flow with a modern Trap sound. Originally from Houston, Texas and now based in Toledo, Ohio, he made his professional solo recording debut in 2020 with the single “Long Live JD.” That song introduced a talented emcee with a deeply personal narrative.

Since releasing that first track CaS Stylo has hit the ground running. In less than two years the prolific artist has produced a full length album and seven singles.  He has recorded songs with high-profile artists like Sterl Gotti, Relly Cole and Rambo Kusco. He has toured throughout Michigan and Ohio and has been featured on prominent podcasts and blogs like ‘419 Grind’ and ‘This Only Happens in Ohio.’

“Friends (remix)” is the brand new single and video from CaS Stylo, released worldwide to all major streaming services on March 1, 2022. Built on the theme song from the famous 90’s sitcom of the same name, the track opens with an extended sample of the song’s intro. In the video we see the rapper and some friends ironically recreating the iconic opening scene of the show.

Then the beat drops on an 808 bass riding a hard Trap groove. The video scene cuts to the CaS Stylo and his crew in a warehouse. The emcee steps to the mic and delivers a freestyle rap about false friends, haters, disloyal women and his affection for Jennifer Aniston.
