Unspoken Manner

Unspoken Manner are an Indie Rock band who made their professional recording debut in 2021 with the single “Pictures.” That track introduced a talented new group from Galax, Virginia. Packed with emotion and drawing on musical styles from across the decades, the band creates a unique and diverse Alternative Rock sound.

The quartet of Andy Hanks on vocals and guitar, Terry Evans on guitar, Darien Dabbs on bass and Nick Baldwin on drums first joined forces in 2020 at the height of the pandemic. Now that the world has begun to open back up they are hitting the stage. The group has gigs booked through the month of May with plenty more planned. However, they recently found time to hit the studio to record a new song.

“Over and Over” is the latest single from Unspoken Manner, released worldwide to all major streaming services on April 1, 2022. The track opens on a melodic guitar and bass intro that brings to mind the classic sound of 80’s College Rock. Hanks steps to the mic and looks back on the disappointment of young love.

As he sings the song builds from a mellow Indie vibe to a big Emo Rock punch. The band is excellent throughout. Andy and Terry match Dabbs’ melodic basslines with melodic Pop picking and some massive power chord crunch. Baldwin meets the Grunge challenge with Grohl-worthy power.
