Originally from West Philadelphia, Unknownwriter 21 first caught the music bug when he was just 12 years-old and heard Michael Jackson’s classic “Thriller” for the first time. By 16 the young musician had relocated to the Washington DC area, began producing tracks and playing live shows. At 23 he made his way back to Philly and got down to the business of building a career. Since then he has scored a number of high profile gigs including an opening slot for the late great DMX.
