Mel Fine is an award-winning singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who made their professional solo recording debut in 2021 with the Grammy-balloted single “In Between”, a heartfelt take on growing up non-binary. The track earned second place in the ‘Songs for Social Change’ contest at Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music. Mel is a scholarship student and senior at the school, majoring in songwriting, music production and engineering.

The young musician’s list of awards and accomplishments is impressive and continues to grow. In 2021 they were awarded Berklee’s ‘Performance Division Voice Award’. Mel Fine has performed their folksy acoustic pop on stages throughout New England, including; Berklee’s Red Room, The Burren in Somerville MA, Boston’s Hard Rock Café, the Berklee Cafe, The Middle East, Berkshire Pride and many more.

“Alone Together” is the brand new single from Mel Fine, released worldwide to all major streaming services on March 18, 2022. Mel’s jazzy and percussive acoustic guitar opens the track, playing syncopated melodies over ambient and rhythmic synths.

Soon the singer steps to the mic to deliver a soulful quarantine-crush confession. A skilled performer and songwriter, the singer offers an emotional long-distance love letter. They flow with ease through complex melodic transitions, intricate chordal structures and infectious Pop hooks.
