The Antenna Tribe is a new musical project born of the pandemic. The group is the brainchild of an otherwise anonymous producer from Los Angeles who left behind a career in medicine to pursue a lifelong dream of making music. The result is an eclectic project with the aim to shine a spotlight on undiscovered talent and draw upon unexpected influences.
The group made their debut in 2021 with the single “Gold Mine.” A collaboration with LA-based singer glasscat, the track introduced an eclectic and creative sound that mixed Dark Pop vibes with elements of Dream Pop and Ambient Electronic music. The Antenna Tribe and glasscat continued to work together on a series of singles that would culminate in the group’s debut EP “Quiet Place.”
“Two Hearts” is the brand new single from The Antenna Tribe, released worldwide to all major streaming services on April 1, 2022. For the new release they have teamed up with UK singer Silke for an hypnagogic downtempo love song. A lo-fi beat pulses at the heart of the track as hypnotic ambient synths expand the horizon. Silke’s ethereal lead vocal meets a percussive electronic groove and waves of lush multi-part harmonies. It is a dreamy and immersive scene.
